Spend a meaningful day with your team while supporting children and families across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Our corporate volunteering sessions offer a hands-on opportunity to experience the work of AberNecessities, strengthen team connections and make a tangible difference within our local community.

Your Corporate Volunteering Experience

Our corporate sessions take place Tuesday to Thursday, 10:30am – 2:00pm, and are designed for groups of up to six participants.

Each visit begins with a welcome from a member of our team, followed by a short tour and introduction to our work. Your group will then take part in practical tasks that directly support the families and children we work with.

These may include:

  • Preparing and organising donations

  • Quality checking items for distribution

  • Helping prepare equipment and clothing

  • Supporting with general stock organisation

Every session offers a valuable insight into our work and the difference community support makes.

Supporting You Session

Contribution

We kindly request a discretionary contribution of £150 per group for each corporate volunteering session.

This contribution helps us provide:

  • A dedicated staff member to support your team

  • Refreshments including tea, coffee and biscuits

  • The preparation and coordination required for your visit

Your support ensures we can continue delivering both our services and meaningful corporate volunteering experiences.

What to Expect On The Day

Come ready to get involved and enjoy a hands-on experience with your team. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.

Depending on the weather and activities planned, you may also wish to bring a warm coat or sunscreen if tasks take place outdoors.

Facilities

We have one accessible toilet on the ground floor and additional restrooms on the first floor.

Lunch

You are welcome to bring your own lunch. A fridge and microwave are available.
Alternatively, Skoff at Cloggy House is located nearby for pre-ordered lunches.

Parking Information

Parking is available on site. Where possible, we encourage car sharing or public transport.
